Tiny House Lots

The only zoning provision that is currently open to tiny homes in our area is in an RV park, on a farm, tiny house community, and sometimes in a mobile home park.

If you want to purchase your own land, we suggest purchasing a lot with an old mobile home on it. You will have all your utilities present and the towns are usually open to an "upgrade" to a tiny home. Please double check with the town first, before you purchase land or a tiny home to make sure there are no restrictions.

If you would like to advocate for tiny homes and accessory dwellings in your county or village, feel free to use our Case for Tiny Homes and Accessory Dwelling Units documents to talk to village board members or local legislators.

Future Hudson River Tiny House Community. We have a lot of interest in establishing a tiny house community. Although we currently have not purchased a piece of property, feel free to check back for updates.

If you are interested in partnering with us to develop a tiny house community, let us know!
